As a practice of following SDGs – 7. Make energy available for everyone and cleanly and 13. Take concrete measures to counteract climate change, we aim to expand sustainable energy sources. We have set a target of managing 500MW of PV generation nationwide in FY2022 (9th period).
If we assume that the annual power generation of a 500MW power plant is 500,000,000kWh, it is equivalent to 500,000 households.
The annual reduction in CO2 emissions would be approximately 252,250,000,000 g-CO2/kWh.
(The CO2s reduction effect of a crystalline silicon photovoltaic power generation system is 504.5 g-CO2/kWh.)
The amount of CO2 absorbed per year by a cedar tree is 14 kg, which is equivalent to the CO2 reduction of about 180,178,857 cedar trees.
Also, the oil reduction of the PV system is 0.227 liters per 1kW, so if 500,000,000kWh of electricity was generated per year, the annual reduction would be 500,000,000kWh x 0.227L = 113,500,000 liters of reduction (This is equivalent to an oil reduction of 6,305,556 polyethylene tanks. The polyethylene tank’s capacity is 18 litters.

The total annual electricity consumption of ADLER SOLAR WORKS Co.,Ltd.’s head office, Northern Kanto SOC (Sales & Operation Center), and Himeji SOC is approximately 280,000 kWh, which is equivalent to the power generation of a 300 kW PV plant.
In addition, taking into account CO2 emissions from vehicles, by the end of fiscal year 2022 (9th period) (end of December 2022), ADLER SOLAR WORKS Co.,Ltd. has set a goal to convert all of its business energy to sustainable energy.
